NYC SHSAT Specialized High School Test Prep. This course is designed for New York City 8th and 9th grade students aiming for admission to specialized high schools such as Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, and Brooklyn Tech. Students will master all Department of Education standards for the SHSAT, including advanced ELA analysis and complex multi-step math problem solving, to maximize their competitive composite score. This course is independent preparation and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NYC Department of Education; check the official site for current test formats and dates. Every lesson includes tutor notes, a practical lab, worked exercises and a 12-question quiz you must pass at 80%, followed by a pooled final exam and free and paid practice tests.
