Academic telecommunications engineering course: Electrical Machines with lessons, labs, quizzes and practice tests.
Independent university-level study of Electrical Machines (EE 172), part of the Erudex Telecommunications Engineering programme. Project: Select a motor and drive concept for a specified low-power duty cycle using torque-speed, efficiency and thermal evidence; no unsupervised mains work. This original curriculum is not an official KNUST syllabus, university credit or accreditation.
One complete track with its own final exam and certificate.
Suggested 120-minute final. Test foundational concepts through magnetic circuits and transformers; analytical application through electromechanical conversion and dc machines; design/case reasoning through induction machines and synchronous and special machines; and integrative judgment through machine testing and protection and machines in communication infrastructure. Use the course-type exam weighting in the program guidance.
Magnetic circuits. Applied task: Model a simple magnetic circuit with leakage assumptions.
