Academic telecommunications engineering course: Communication Circuits with lessons, labs, quizzes and practice tests.
Independent university-level study of Communication Circuits (TE 364), part of the Erudex Telecommunications Engineering programme. Project: Design a receiver building block and integrate its gain, filtering, oscillator or conversion behavior into a quantified receiver budget. This original curriculum is not an official KNUST syllabus, university credit or accreditation.
One complete track with its own final exam and certificate.
Suggested 120-minute final. Test foundational concepts through rf circuit models and tuned amplifiers; analytical application through oscillators and frequency synthesis and mixers and conversion; design/case reasoning through modulators and demodulators and receiver front ends; and integrative judgment through rf measurement and communication circuit integration. Use the course-type exam weighting in the program guidance.
RF circuit models. Applied task: Characterize a frequency-dependent circuit model.
