Academic telecommunications engineering course: Switching Engineering in Communication with lessons, labs, quizzes and practice tests.
Independent university-level study of Switching Engineering in Communication (TE 384), part of the Erudex Telecommunications Engineering programme. Project: Dimension and simulate a switching fabric or voice-service model; quantify blocking, queues, signaling behavior and resilience under specified demand. This original curriculum is not an official KNUST syllabus, university credit or accreditation.
One complete track with its own final exam and certificate.
Suggested 120-minute final. Test foundational concepts through switching foundations and space and time switching; analytical application through traffic engineering and signaling systems; design/case reasoning through numbering and routing and packet voice systems; and integrative judgment through modern switching platforms and switching system design. Use the course-type exam weighting in the program guidance.
Switching foundations. Applied task: Model the states of a basic call process.
