Curriculum

One complete track with its own final exam and certificate.

Suggested 120-minute final. Test foundational concepts through microwave transmission foundations and network parameters and measurement; analytical application through impedance matching and waveguides and passive components; design/case reasoning through microwave active circuits and terrestrial microwave links; and integrative judgment through simulation and safe laboratory methods and microwave engineering design review. Use the course-type exam weighting in the program guidance.

Microwave transmission foundations. Applied task: Compare lumped and distributed models as

  • Frequency-domain behavior Lab60 min
  • Transmission lines Lab60 min
  • Practical structures Lab60 min
