Texas Driver Improvement & Defensive Driving Course

A short, easy 6-hour Texas Driving Safety Course (DSC) built around Texas traffic laws.

A simple 6-hour Texas driver improvement course modelled on the Driving Safety Course (DSC) format overseen by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). It covers Texas traffic laws, points and course rules, plus core defensive driving: hazards, distraction, impairment, speed, sharing the road, weather and crashes. Texas law (Education Code §1001.352) requires driving safety providers to charge at least $25, so Erudex charges exactly the $25 state minimum. Important: Erudex is preparing its application to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Until Erudex appears on the state's approved provider list, this course is educational only and will not dismiss tickets, reduce points or satisfy court or DMV orders. Short lessons, a 12-question quiz per lesson at 80% and a final exam.
