Official curricula & qualification boards

England’s phonics, multiplication and KS2 checks; Wales’s personalised assessments; Scotland’s national standardised assessments; and optional selective-school transfer tests serve different purposes. GCSE, A-level, National 5 and Higher subject choices depend on the school and learner. UK boards publish separate specifications; Wales is introducing reformed GCSEs. US English-learner and alternate assessments require individual school guidance and are not reproduced here.
